Rustic Retreat

Has your father been working really hard this year? Do you think he deserves a well earned break? Well a week away might be just what he needs. It’s often tough to find a holiday that dads really appreciate. I know my dad doesn’t really enjoy the sun and spending time on a beach. Cities aren’t really his thing either as he’s seen most of the sights in Europe and I can’t afford to send him further a field. I was racking my brains to find something I though he would enjoy when I came across a website called Costal Cottages.
On this site you can find some really unique holidays in England, involving stays in rustic cottages on the Pembrokeshire coast including arranged activities such as cycling rowing and absailing - just the thing for a dad who spends all day in an office. Week long holidays start from only £199 per person. And special touches such as a hamper filled with your dad’s favourite treats really add to the experience. Check out the special page on Father’s Day breaks to see exactly what’s included and the idyllic cottages you can choose from

Father’s Day is coming up on 17th June and there are many special gifts you can buy for your Dad this year. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to show him you care, but obviously you can if you want to! I have just seen these cute little cufflinks on
I came across this ‘Aged To Perfection’ T-Shirt today and decided it was a perfect gift for Father’s Day! Even though Father’s Day is a while away yet (17th June) I often find it really hard to shop for men and end up buying some extremely dull gift such as socks or golf tees, so this year I wanted to get something different. Granted it is only a T-Shirt, but I think dads everywhere would be proud to receive this from their daughter!
Here’s a gift idea that you can guarantee they don’t have already! A piece of modern art presenting their own personal DNA. You can even choose the colour it’s produced in as well as the size it comes in. It’s a very cool idea using very new technologies that combine science with art.
Apparently you can actually buy an acre of land on the moon and give it to someone as a gift. Maybe a little outrageous for a birthday present but if you know someone interested in astronomy; imagine how much they would appreciate this idea.
